This fork works great. I've got it installed on a Focus Big Bud. I mainly ride trails and some XC.
I weight 75Kgr, plus my equipment ( a bag on my back with some stuff for the mountain/tools/hydration pack etc), so make my total weight 80Kgr. I set my air pressure (according to the sag amount )at about 75psi (rock shox charts recommend 85-120psi). The fork reads the terrain very nice.
I guess, the air spring is pretty damn good!!
The dual position air is a very helpful "tool". It really helps on ascending which drops the travel at 130mm. On descending, at it's full travel the forks is a super WOW. Descending on 130mm travel makes no difference on the forks performance, but I hardly descend on 130mm. I love full travel.
Each click on the dials, has a great impact on it's performance. So, with High/Low compression dials you can fine tune it to your riding style or what's best for the terrain.
The lock out (which is the pop up dial of the Low Speed Compression knob) is also adjustable, giving you an option of how stiff you want your lock out mode to be. (that can be set with an alen wrench- read the manual).
Rebound is also very responsive. I like it pretty slow. But, as I've already said "each click has a big impact".
Have this fork for a year. I've ridden more than 1500Km on the mountains, descented in high speeds,
some drops, some serious rock gardens, stairs, and all these great stuff we all like to ride. The fork never let me down. It works great. Just great. And remember, every click of a dial, makes a BIG difference.
So, you got everything under your "clicks".
I highly recommend it. Plus, service is pretty easy (if you are a do-it-yourself person)
