Brilliant shifter. Simple, elegant and VERY bling. Inboard/Outboard mounting adjustment works brilliantly, as i like to have single digit only braking. 2-way release is also fantastic - thumb shift on those manic DH straights when you need to bash through the gears fast, but finger shift on the cruise home. Allround 10/10. Not a single problem at all and plenty of adjustment in the barrell adjuster to make up for the direct cable routing on the m810 rear mech. SUPERB!
Great quality feel, positive rapid shifts with the shortest of lever travel. This shifter is so fast, push with the thumb,pull with the finger, inboard or outboard - so they fit great. Got std Deore front mech which performs well, Saint rear mech is a dream, gold bling looks the business, no hesitation in recommending this 200%, you will not be disappointed.
I've had mine for 4 months and its died ! The ratchet has broken and I've had to replace it . I'm not saying its a bad product but for an extra 15 pounds you could by a XTR shifter to work with your saint mech, and believe me thats the only shimano shifter I will be using from now on !
