While a Vansguard rating of 10000mm is our highest, even our lowest rated fabric at 5000mm is adaptable to changing conditions so that you stay dry and warm, keeping you in all day riding comfort.

Thermal shelter system synthetic: Designed to protect the body’s core in cold-weather conditions, the Vans Thermal Shelter System utilizes a synthetic insulation that is lightweight, soft, and provides superior warmth-to-weight ratio. TSS Synthetic is also moisture resistant, highly compressible, and extremely durable. To meet the needs of the rider, varying weights are used, depending on the jacket or pant. This system is exclusive to our TSS Midweight and TSS Lightweight Insulation.
