The Freelap timing system is now available at CRC. This will revolutionize how you and your mates train, and will even provide a competitive edge during weekend practice.
The Freelap system has been developed to provide athletes with the means to measure their performance and progress at a fraction of the cost of more complex timing equipment.
Consisting of a stopwatch with multi-function timing modes and transmitter poles which will act as the start/finish of any track. For DH mtb’ing 2 poles will be required to time runs, one at the top for the start, and one at the bottom for the finish. The stopwatch is activated once it passes by the transmitter pole and will record split times every time another pole has been passed meaning that multiple split times can be recorded for each run.
All the information is stored in the watch meaning you can then transfer the information to your home computer with the use of the optional Stopwatch Interface module* and build up a database of times including splits for the season and compare your progress from one season to the next. The stop watch is accurate to 2/100th , a lot more accurate than the old stopwatch fixed to your handlebars method, and is of course completely wireless.Full information and pricing can be found HERE.
*The Stopwatch Interface module must be purchased separately.
