Didn't get mine from here but hey. So these are truely excellent. A real departure from the hours spent trying shims of varying thickness in the hope you'll centre the caliper over the disc. The time I'd spent on my old formulas getting them right. So I fit these in minites, no faffing around with shims, just squeeze the lever a few times and then snug up the bolts and perfect alignment. It's so very simple and quick. The levers and calipers are well made and the quality of modulation is there to feel. I'd say buy these over the juicy 7's, a lot less cash for the same power but without a bite point adjuster you'll probably never use more than once. Only down side is the split clamp design means removing your grips to get the lever on the bars.
Very good brake!!!! So easy to install and litle time to work properly. Iwould prefer the front disc to be 180mm, but it's ok!!! Buy them and you won't regret it.
P.S. Miles away from my Shiamano XT's dual control..........
Well i ordered these the other day and threw my old cane creek v-brakes away, i fitted them and at first, the feel was pretty weak, however after reading the manual (which is ok on details of how to fit the juicies,) it said after 30 or 40 complete stops the pads will be broken in.
Wow! these brakes are the business. My favourite thing about these brakes though, is that you have 2 options, 1: Brake Progessively or 2: Go over the handlebars. All in all, A Hydraulic disc Brake that has excellent modulation and is well priced for what you get! in my opinion, CE MAGNIFIQUE!

These are amazing brakes, a friend recomended them to me so i got them and they are awsome. my mate who owned the sevens said the red dial was a bit pointless so i got these 160 rear and 185 front. the lever realy does have an excellent feel to it in its shape and how it move wit your fingers.
This is what i experienced from mine, i am sure yours will give bloody great power to.

i bought this break for spite for my mongoose ritual and it is good but it had a few problems like the leaver was leaking so i sent it back free of charge and now it works perfect i use it for dirt jumping, street, downhill and freeride and it works perfect the calliper is very strong after i hitt it off a tree at my local downhill trails i would recommend these if you like dirt jumping, downhill and street and dont forget freeride. cross country is not good enough for these brakes it is for old men

Decent disk brake. No better than say the Hayes FX9's I have used though. One thing that is worrying compared to Hope for example is the lack of spares and the quality of materials used. For example the pistons are made of cheese so when you push them back when fitting new pads it it easy to chip them. Spares are also hard to get hold of. It is also hard to get cheap pads.
i bought this brake on a friday a it came on tuesday i sett it up and it took ages. after that i took it out for a ride and all it done was made a squeeky sound it done this allot so i sanded the pads down and used disk brake cleener after that i took it downhilling and to the dirt jumps and all that happend was that it squeeled and didnt stop me every day the leever also comes further to the handelbars and it is very spongy this rake looks very nice but it works crap. avid are fat
