| Have just flowen from Zürich to Perth (Aust) via Johannesburg with my Specialized Stumpjumper tucked up inside, then had it trucked 500 miles in West Aussie and then flew it all back here to Switzerland as cargo with absolutely no damage to the bike and all the other 40kgs of crap I had stacked in it.To stop it from toppling over place some foam under the bottom bearing so it doesn`t balance on big chain ring, also put your arm through the straps then grab the towing handle and that keeps it stable. Also not a bad idea to cover big ring with car door trim so it doesn`t chop up bag bottom, remove anb bubble wrap rear derailleur and tape to chainstay.I didn`t let the pressure out of tyres, forks or shockie and had no problems (only 15lbs difference from sea to space) A bloody good, well priced product.Cheers |

| The best bike bag on the market. All the mag's give it top marks. Thick padding, padded wheel bags, inner pockets for storing pedals, tools, and all the other stuff you invariably forget where you put in your excitement of packing. Every time it's been used, it's been inspected by other bikies cos it looks good - and more importanly, IS good. Weighs about 5kg on its own. |

My Cannondale Gemini DH bike (with A Marzocchi Monster -03) fitted perfectly in this bag. Only the wheels where removed. (If you are flying with it remeber to let the air out of you biketyres...)
Buy, and have a nice trip...

I bought one of these off CRC last year in the UK before travelling home to NZ via Canada. My Cannondale Hardtail made it home without a single scratch or bent wheel, and I managed to squeeze another Hardtail frame in with it!

| I've had this bag for a little over a year and have flown all around Europe with it. I've put a cardboard bike box inside which gives it some shape, adds extra protection, stops the whole lot falling over sideways and makes wheeling it around MUCH easier (I've found pushing is easier than pulling and it's also easier to keep upright then). Does make getting the bike in a bit more of a squeeze though. Adds a couple of extra kilos to the weight. Used it once without the box in and was a bit nervous about all the expensive lumps sticking out. Made it in one piece, but I'll probably go back to using the inner box for peace of mind. |

i took this bag containing my big hit all the way to canada this summer, and the bike got there in one piece, however i think the bag pull handle is too low down on the bag which makes it very unstable. Added to this the 4 easy access zippers are a stupid idea, as it just gives more access for some of the baggage handlers sticky fingers, but other than that great value for money!
PS Anyone flying Air Canada there is a weight limit on bikes of 33kg, and they are particularly picky about this at heathrow. |

| This is a very good bag padding and size wise. I managed to fit an XC bike in very well but space was a bit tight with a DH rig even with the wheels removed. Ive used it several times and my bikes not been damaged. The most annoying thing is that the dragging handdle is WAY TO LOW and the bike keeps toppling over when you try and roll it. If it was just a bit higher it would work fine and would get 5 stars. |

| I have been using the this bike bag regulary for a year going to spain and back. Its a bit of a squeeze fitting a down hill bike in it. The bag has no sign of damage or wear. Highly recomended, glad to see crc have got them in. |

just back from a 5 day trip to Pyrenees.
Good points:- The wheels are excellent, and the squashiness of the bag means it can be fitted into a large car boot. the bag is big enough to contain bike. small tool box, and soft bag of clothes, so didn't have to pay for extraa bag with Ryanair (I had already paid for bike bag).
Bad points and cures:- The towing handle is too low. the cure is to lengthen the top straps, wind your arm through them, then lift the towing handle.
Bike rack holes Zip tie them together, then no-one can get into the bag. Similarly a ziptie of the top zips stops anyone getting in without your knowledge.
I have no qualms recommending this bag. |

Good piece of kit - robust and roomy. Have used mine a fair bit and never had any damage, although I do use additional padding on the bike - suggest you do the same with any bag e.g. foam pipe insulation. So far, no sign of wear on the bag.
Other thoughts: - quattro zips are a waste of time. Put your bike in this and then hang it on a bike rack. I reckon you'd get up to about 30mph before you rip the lot off the back of your car - a bit like towing a big parachute! Also, gives 4 more access points for the nice men at the airport to nick your stuff through.
- Ollie's comment on tow handle. Yup, it's too low, causes the bag to tip over as you pull it along and is a pain. It's like this because if it was any higher it would be in the way of the main zip and prevent you getting the bike in and out. But then they could use a 2 part handle and velcro! Scissors, needle and thread anyone?
- as per every bike bag I have ever seen, they do seem very expensive for what you get, but then they are all this sort of money. |

Yep, he's right, those quattro zips are a waste of time if you ask me. I immediately thought the same thing - great access points for thieves. If they had made the zippers padlockable that would've been better but noooooo..... Having said that, it seems like a good sturdy piece of kit. People should know that it is NOT solid, it is definitely a padded bike "bag". But padded well I must say. I haven't used it yet but will do to Canada soon. I am looking forward to wheeling it round the airport to check its stability - just looking at it I can see that it will want to topple over though. The answer will probably be to stack it so most of the weight is at the bottom. That will help to stop people nicking stuff out of the quattro zips as well..... I still think 90 quid is a bit steep for what you get. |

| I have just brought my Specialized FSR XC bike out to Nepal from Ireland in one of these bags - that was 3 flights, so plenty of potential handling damage. I'm happy to report that the bike is perfect, so that's the main thing - some worrying signs of damage on the bag itself though, which makes me wonder how long the thing will survive. The biggest problem is with the main zip - it's just not tough enough. The handlebar end obviously got a bit of pressure and that caused compression of the zip, with several missing teeth. It still closes, but only just. Also a big chunk of plastic out of one of the bottom rails. I expected a bit better for the price. |

| The handle to tow the bag is too low down. On a recent trip to ireland i found that the bike would lean to one side, causing the whole bag to become unstable. If the handle was a little higher you would be able to control the bag allot better, and perhaps make the mad dashes around the airport allot easier. The rest of the bag is well made, and has two good wheel bags. Shame that they didn't test out how easy it would be to tow the dam thing. |
