ARX Latin for stronghold and bridge, is the perfect connection between fork and handlebar, with a highly optimized clamp design. Steerers and handlebars made of composite materials can easily be compromised by poor clamp design. To assure the integrity of the ARX clamp interface, we perform our own tests that go way beyond the demands of CEN standards. We even tested this new stem’s compatibility with other brands of handlebars and it passed with flying colours. ARX TEAM is made of Al 7075 T6, with the grain structure aligned for optimal strength. A titanium bolt package brings the weight down to 120 g. In addition to the usual reversible 6-degree fitment, Arx Team is available in a reversible 17 degree variant for a really aggressive, low riding position or high rise comfort.
TEAM is intended for top-level competition, and is widely used by professional and amateur racers. TEAM products equal LTD in function, but have minor concessions to price in materials specification and finish. TEAM components are built either in advanced carbon composite materials, or the highest grades of heat-treated aluminium alloy. This gives them great strength and robustness, so they are especially suitable for the rough-and tumble of season-long competition. Bolts may be stainless-steel or titanium. You’ll find the widest choice of fittings and sizes in the TEAM range.

Rated 4 out of 5 by Giles Racey Stem with Go Faster Stripes!
I purchased this Stem to replace the standard Stem I had on my Road Bike and love it as its both light weight and good quality.
I purchased the more the aggressive 17 degree drop which allows me to really attack the road as my handlebars don't have the deepest drop on them.
The 17 degree drop also allows for a better position for TT bars but I have not tried these on yet.
The only downside is I must have measured my existing Stem in the wrong way (is there a knack to this?) as the 130mm I ordered is perhaps a tad longer than I expected although I still have full control of brakes \ shifters and can cruise along on the top bar comfortably when I don't want the aero advantages on my new lower riding position.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Anonymous Sweet stem
I got the 17 degree stem for my road bike to bring up the bars a bit so I would not strain my bad back and the fit is perfect. This stem is light weight, stylish, and strong. Just what I wanted.

Rated 4 out of 5 by Anonymous identical to 3T Pro but for Ti screws
I own both 3T ARX team and 3T ARX pro stems and they are identical (including weight) except for the Ti screws in the more expensive team stem.

Rated 4 out of 5 by Anonymous Got this to go with my 3T bars, and they do look good together. Does what it's meant to, no issues there. Stiff and flawless. The bars did slip once though after I'd been playing with the set up. I hadn't tighten the screws up enough for fear of cracking the carbon bars. There's a torque recommendation for the screws so now I'm searching for a torque wrench (which you seem to need for just about everything now).
