X-fit design: X-fit design minimizes the bunching that neoprene and other protective gear materials do as the rider’s joints go through a range of motion.
D3O® : D3O® is a patented protective material that combines enhanced chemistry with product engineering to produce high performance shock absorption and impact protection. The D3O® components utilize the unique Flo texture specifically designed to provide optimal freedom of movement and exceptional protection. This occurs due to the unique capability of the material to spread the force of impact over a wide area, minimizing its effect. This protector is also breathable for ultimate comfort.High performance shock absorption/Trusted protection/Maximum flexibility/Extremely comfortable/Tested to highest standards/Machine washable/Non-toxic/Thickness: 8mm/CE certified EN 1621-1

Rated 4 out of 5 by Anonymous Well designed and I hope keep my knees safe
I have a lot of confidence that these knee pads will protect me when needed. They have a very soft protection part that feels great. I did find on a long ride I had to did get cramp in my legs because they kept falling down so I tighted it up a bit too much in a bid to keep them from falling down. Every other shorter ride has been without cramp, bad day maybe. It has been designed properly the most obvious when you wear it is the velcro strap at the top when does up points to the outside of your leg so when you walk or ride it won't catch each other and undo. Much more useful than the elbow pads.

Best knee guards for XC that you can get.
I went shopping with them first day and even kept them over night.
Point was to try if they are sliding down or causing troubles with blood circulation. Suppose that CRC wouldn't take back dirty pads from trail testing.
They hold on place, so I just wearing them even on road spins as ultimate wind breaker.
Comfy even in high cadence so I just don't know about them during ride.
Have to say after one month that I would buy them again.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Anonymous Bought these just over a month ago and have used them 5 times so far on a mixture of XC and DH, the longest I've worn them for is approx 3.5hrs covering 24km, I only needed to adjust them once the whole ride.
I haven't found them too hot on warm days, but they add a bit of warmth on cold days.
Had a wipeout yesterday landing a jump on loose gravel and other than a broken collar bone, not a scratch on me, these pads offer great protection.
Not the cheapest, but how do you put a value on your safety?

Rated 5 out of 5 by Anonymous Мягкие, удобные, не стисняют движения, при правильно выбранном размере никуда не сползают, можно крутить в них часами, на ногах незаметны, бокавая защита тоже присутствует.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Anonymous Firstly these are by far the best knee pads i have owned, seen or tryed on EVER. If you get the size right they are perfect. I am a Medium and my leg is 13.5'' just above my kee cap and they are perfect. I'v used these for paintballing once to see how they were and they were great, downhill. I also did some mountain climbing dascending sort of xc but more extreme and they were on the warm side but definently bareable, possibly even in the summer not tryed that yet. All in all well worth that little extra money over the conventional knee pad bacause now i feel bad for not having them rather than hateing wareing the chunky thinng. One of my best bike investiments to date.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Anonymous Got my self a pair of these and they are sweet. the kevlar outer is nice and looks like denim so looks really nice under a pair of jeans. the D3O is some crazy S**T. its really flexible and light but as soon as you need it it hardens up and protects you amazingly. The only downside to them is that they don't have a velcro closer on the bottom so it can slip a little and make sure you get the sizing perfect. Not much room for error in these size wise
