8Fun QSWXB 24V 250W Brushless Geared Front Hub
Motors from Suzhou Bafang are some of the best known motors for electric bikes.

More than a million of them have been sold worldwide.

This motor is brushless, with permanent magnet external rotor that drives a set of nylon cogs called 'planetary gearbox'.

An automatic clutch system disengages the cogs when electrical assistance is not required, so the bike feels very much like a normal pushbike.

The Bafang motors are reputed for robust construction and strong magnets, the resulting in a very reliable motor with low friction noise and exceptional conversion yield exceeding 80% on flat terrains.

This hub is designed for use with V-brake set ups only as this does not have a mount to accept a disc rotor fitting.
