Absolutely amazing shorts! Tough, yet light and breathable!
I love Alpinestars stuff but these shorts seemed way, way overpriced! Nearly £100 for some shorts, seriously?
Regardless, they're bought and have seen many comfortable rides with no signs of wear. Maybe the ruggedness will justify the price? Time will tell...

Rated 5 out of 5 by ivanvilla Good shorts, well made but a bit pricey..
Very good shorts.
The quality of the fabric is good a bit heavy for very hot weather but seems very durable, not so goo the stitching which started to come undone in one of the lateral pockets.
Pokets themselves are good if you want to carry your gloves or something similar...
There's a zippered side pocket aswell but I found that it is very unconfortable if you carry around something like your phone or keys..
The inner shorts are quite good.
Overall good shorts but the price is a bit steep.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Wicked Great shorts, comfortable, and easy to ride, up and downhill
The shorts are great. They are quite thick material, so give you a bit of padding if you come off. They have nice air holes to keep you cool, and decent pockets. The inner shorts are actually quite comfortable, and don't move around too much.
Overall very happy. My only nit pick, is that they had a slight hole in the groin area (stitching coming away) rather than send them back, I just sewed them myself.

Had a quick look at the shorts on the website and looking at the size guide there. Someone with a 34" waist may be suited to a medium. You can also refer to Alpinestars size guide on their website: http://www.alpinestars.com/size-gui...
