Gloves have to be tough enough to survive high-speed bailouts and repeated beatings in the washing machine. At the same time, they have to be sensitive enough to communicate what’s going on between you and your bike. Answer gloves are as tough as you think you are, and as sensitive as your significant other wishes you were.

Rated 4 out of 5 by Duke Fine winter gloves
I've worn these two seasons already and going on to the third. Minor signs of wear despite a few falls. I ride cross country an average 300 miles / month so yes, I'd say they're durable. Very warm in temperatures around 0 C. Warm in temperatures down to -5. From then on you'd probably need a liner (I do). Also usable in temperatures from 5 to about 10. Higher than that you'll sweat. Size wise I take M and these were spot on. They are water repellent in drizzle and light rain but anything heavier and the water seeps right in. No problem though because even if your hands do get wet they don't get cold (at least not mine). Happy enough to buy again.

Rated 1 out of 5 by Anonymous I wouldnt recomend this glove to anyone.
I just tested it on a longtrip, it was around 9 degrees c, and i got cold after 1 hour, and u would get wet in these gloves probaby fairly quick aswell. The glove isnt even air tigth, wich probably is the first rule for keeping on the warmth in cold weather. The neopren is just ontop of the hand and on the sides it's a thinner material wich isnt neopren, and the seems are leaking cold air into the gloves and u get cold immediately. It's a waste of money because if it get's warmer it's just to use regular thin gloves. Because these gloves doesnt work for when u need a glove to warm your hands. I cant believe all the ppl who give this glove good rating. I trusted the reviews i read and now i just wasted alot of money because ppl cant write a proper review. The person who use these gloves in minus degrees are nut's, or just really hardcore or insensitive to cold, but it would freeze anyones fingers and make operating gear's prety hard. I used them for road cycling, so i dont have much friction to warm my fingers, but i dont think that it would matter much cause they leak and u get cold. Maybe on a short intense trip where u could get alot of friction but that's just stupid anyway.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Anonymous Great winter gloves
Have used these gloves for a month now, with temps down to - 6, not had cold hands on any of my rides even when wet, these gloves are great would recommend them to anyone who is prone to cold hands, the cut is on the big side so be careful when ordering, no problem with gear changing or feeling when braking

Rated 4 out of 5 by Anonymous WARM, thick, decent.
I own a pair of ancient Answer gloves and went with same 'L' size; makes sense really. These seem to be a more generous cut than the others, although i have yet to see if they shrink following recommended washing instructions. Possible reasoning for a slightly roomier fit on a winter glove: if it were tight against say finger tips, i imagine heat would be much more readily wicked away. I prefer the fastening to be underneath, no biggy; the cuff is long enough to tuck a sleeve under. Generous snot wipe. Oh yeah, very warm and fairly thick. I think this glove is probably best suited to -5 - 7 degrees C.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Anonymous I have bad blood circulation in my hands causing my fingers to become white and numb in cold weather, even with winter gloves like the lizard skinz blizzard, they would get wet and my my hands/fingers would become freezing, i could'nt find any reviews on these glove but thought i'd give them a shot, and there amazing! the outer layer got a little wet but inside my fingers were super toasty! super comfy and warm, but still great feeling on the bars! I could'nt reccomend these gloves any more!
