I find the 20deg sweep of this bar far more comfortable than the typical 9 deg sweep, especially on long XC rides.
I feel like I have a stronger grip on the bars also, just holding them you can see that your wrists are more inline with your forearms. The forward sweep of the bars get your actual hand grip position fairly close to where they would be with a typical 9 deg sweep bar so you can do a swap without having to change your stem length.
they look a bit unusual at first but you get used to it and they kind of look cool - function before form.
It is good to see Answer coming up and trying something new instead of playing it safe copying existing. Also the weight of the ones I got were 220g exact on what is specified, good to see an honest product weight for a change...

Rated 5 out of 5 by Silentbutdeadly A proper thing...
This replaced a Ragley Carnegie on my rigid hardtail. I've used Carnegie bars for a few years on two MTBs but felt that the rigid bespoke hardtail deserved something 'else'. I nabbed one of these recently on price drop so they've replaced the Carnegie. They're attached to a Carver rigid carbon fork via a Thomson X4 stem and control a steel hardtail 29er via Ergon GA1 grips.
They are 20mm wider than the Carnegie, 100gms lighter and the sweep is not as extreme. It's fair to say that the bike control experience has changed remarkably - the extra carbon provides reduced track chatter through the hands while the extra length (despite being tiny) seems to assist cornering and turning stability without grasping trackside vegetation.
Hands and wrists were in much better shape after a 2.5 hr XC race than I had reason to expect so from a comfort perspective these are a winner despite the expense.
Practically, there's enough space for the Garmin mount and a light bar mounted around the stem and more than enough room for controls in the rest of the bar. Markings on the bar make fitting and alignment easy and if you find it too long then there's a suite of markings at both ends to make shortening the bar a breeze....

Rated 4 out of 5 by Crankster Very Nice Alt Bar for SS
This is a niche product which may explain its steep price. I was using a Ragley Carnegie Alloy bar on my Ragley Piglet Ti set up for SS. I regretted not buying the carbon Carnegie when it was available. I was well pleased when Answer came up with the 20-20 as this is an excellent alternative. The width is just right and the 20 degree angles and 20mm rise put my hands in the right places to pump uphills. The Answer 20-20 is also very light (220g) and good-looking to boot. The graphics allow the bar to be flipped for positive or negative rise. Highly recommended if you love the Ragley Carnegie. The only downside is the price!
