Rated 5 out of 5 by I bought these bib shorts specifically to do the Dunwich Dynamo, 115 mile ride (had not previously done more than 50 miles) as I knew there was the potential to get really sore. I have the white and black pair, they are actually slightly different (and nicer) than the picture, the black panel goes all the way up to the waist at the front, this is a good thing I think as when wet there would be a possibility of the white panels becoming slightly see-through. The fabric feels nice quality and cool for hot weather. The chamois is much more 3D fitting to the female shape than any other chamois I have seen. The bib shorts come in a fancy box with a net wash bag, washing liquid sample, a small pot of assos chamois cream and a book all about the shorts! I used the cream on the 115 mile ride and these shorts lived up to all of their claims ..... no sores, no chaffing and really very comfortable. They look good too. There is really only one negative I discovered with these, despite fitting very well I found the sliding hook fastening at the front could suddenly and for no apparent reason come undone while riding. I have read about someone else having this issue in a review somewhere else. I found what they suggested worked, if you twist the strap over then hook it closed it doesn't come undone. This is a minor issue when you consider all the major positives of this garment and is easily fixable, although I wonder why Assos haven't modified the design. Over all, I highly recommend these paricularly for epic rides, get some =D 25 July 2010
