Rated 5 out of 5 by Susanna Great braking power
I'm surprised these pads make less noise than I expected. Also braking power is even more than with organic pads. I love these! Only a little wear in wet conditions.

I reckon on getting at least 7,000 kilometres out of a pair of these. OK that's mainly in the dry but includes lots of mountain roads. I simply don't believe the guy claiming to have only got 28 miles out of a pair.
If you are getting problems with squealing then you need to clean them - even a baby wipe will do the trick.

these pads are excellent when your not riding in extremely wet and muddy conditions as i found that out when i had no rear brake after half an hour of riding, but in dry conditions they are amazing!!!

I had the sintered version of these pads, they squeal loudly whenever any pressure is applied to the brakes. Really ruins a ride. Power is not as good as original avid brakes. Worth spending a little bit more to get a better brake pad with more power and no noise.

Great pads.. I use one organic and one sintered pad on each brake.. provides improved modulation.. running Juicy 5, 2009.

these pads are okay, got ones on my new juicy 7's and they take aages to stop squealing. now i know people will go ohh well is et them up wrong. but they were set up perfect. they have to loose their first layer. which takes ages. but after that they are great pads. get them
