They came on bike I bought new and I was expecting to bin them. But no chance after a years worth of abuse and neglect in very muddy conditions there doing a great job and still on the original pads to. Loads of bite. Only thing I need to do is change the cables now there starting to drag. Makes me wonder why I bother with hydraulics on my other bike sometimes

When i bought a pair of BB7 brakes they arrived boxed with various adapters for front and rear fitting..this pair of BB5's arrived in polythene bags both with rear fitting adapters. So not really a pair then...and so after my complaint was ignored i went to the expense of having to buy a front adapter so i could have brakes on my bike.
Are chain reaction losing that edge....?
