Rated 3 out of 5 by 50/50 I can't really fault these rotors, they seem fine but changing my rotors to Shimano rotors has fixed the dreaded turkey gobble problem for both my Avid Juicy brakes and my Avid Code R's... 29 January 2014
Rated 4 out of 5 by
Rated 5 out of 5 by Excellent Braking Power Been using this rotor for the past 10 months and has done over 2000 miles and is still going strong. Solid design and wont bend like other cheaper 180s. Modulates well as is noise free (organic pads), squeals a bit under heavy braking with semi metal or sintered pads. Bit more expensive than others but better quality. 23 October 2013
Rated 3 out of 5 by 203mm is actially G3 style Rotor Be warned the "46216" 203mm rotor is the G3 style with the solid center and not as pictured. That said it still works perfectly. 03 June 2013
Rated 4 out of 5 by I somehow managed to taco my old 160 mm G2 and although I was able to bend it back into shape, it was never completely flat so I got a replacement. I was surprised how much the old rotor had worn down compared to the new one. The G2 is not exactly the lightest rotor in the world but it is nicely made and stiff - braking feels firm and positive. 27 May 2010
Rated 5 out of 5 by Great Great product. I'm using it (203mm) with a 4piston caliper XT brake (plus a Saint leveler). Top clash product. 08 April 2010
Rated 4 out of 5 by Great 1 Piece Disc Ideal replacement for any system. Good grade of stainless too. If anything it's a little too hard, it will last long but there a maybe need to to use a softer pad to maintain power. Solid product. 08 April 2010
Rated 3 out of 5 by Gran potència de frenada, però més deformable, el que fa que toqui amb les pastilles de fre i faci soroll. 08 April 2010

Answer:
You can use the majority of disc brake rotors with most brands of calipers. The differences in thickness of rotors is so small that it is not an issue mixing and matching brands.

Yes, just make sure your brake mounts match the size of the rotor.

My original rotor has stamped Ø185mm on it, and is also measured 185mm.
(Will a 180 mm fit, perhaps with some shims adjustments to the caliper ?)

Answer:
Avid rotors were originally produced in a 185mm size, but they reduced them to match the more common industry standard of 180mm from around 2010/11 onwards. If you want to fit a 180mm rotor, you should switch the 185mm adaptor to a new 180mm (20mm IS) alternative instead.
