Rated 2 out of 5 by Leaks, needs experience and lot of patience. Few problems with this. Hose connections leak so when you apply underpressure to syringe, it leaks air to hose, which then goes in to brakes when you let go of the piston. Also other way, it get's real messy when you need to get pressure in the system. Tried to screw hose tighter to adapter but it's too loose to begin with. Two stars just because in the end I managed to get all the air out of the system. 14 April 2014
Rated 1 out of 5 by Spend a bit more and get the pro kit Save your time and money and get the pro bleed kit. Achieve a much better bleed in half the time. This kit is rubbish. 22 March 2014
Rated 1 out of 5 So far, pretty useless. Bought this kit with an Avid Elixir 3 front brake as I knew I'd have to shorten the hose and then bleed the brake. Shortening the hose wasn't a problem, but I've bled the brake twice now and it's no different, the lever almost touches the bar before the brake pads bite. Assuming that the brake is not faulty, the problem lies with the syringes included in this kit. The small sections of hose with the plastic clamps on are too short, and if you bend them in any way ( which you have to when you need to position the syringes upright ) they leak brake fluid out and let air into the syringes, thus making bleeding process next to impossible. I wish I had bought the professional kit as the syringes look to be of better quality than the ones included in this kit. Don't waste your money on this kit. 19 February 2014
Rated 1 out of 5 by Leaky Watched all the guides and read the supplied instructions. Would have been easy if the syringes and adapters didn't leak. Only gave a fair rating on value because I got dot fluid and bleed blocks in the kit. Look for an alternative is my advise. 13 February 2014
11 February 2014

Rated 4 out of 5 by Good value This kit worked perfectly. Bled my brakes in a matter of minutes. 20 January 2014
Rated 4 out of 5 by Good kit if used correctly. This is a good kit if used correctly, you need to degas the DOT fluid a number of times, same with the caliper and the lever. The more time you spend on it the better the result.Good kit all the same, easy to do once you get the hang of it. Be aware though,it is also easy to get a bad bleed if you don't take time over it or use old dot fluid, for a fiver get a fresh bottle. You also get the relevant bleed blocks to your brake which is a bonus as they are 3-5 quid a pop if bought separate. Only drawback is the plastic syringe which after a few uses becomes difficult to withdraw easily, even with rinsing out after use. Then again, these can be replaced for a couple of quid on the web. Not to bad, good bleed. 13 November 2013
