Rated 4 out of 5 by found what i was looking for. Problema risolto, mi serviva l'adattatore da 185mm e l'ho trovato immediatamente. Great value! 24 February 2014
Rated 5 out of 5 by
Rated 2 out of 5 by Design causes alignment problems Further to my other review about the sticky alignment, I have several of these that came with my various 185mm Avid brakes, and they all have the same issue, so it really is not a one-off issue. 20 March 2012
Rated 2 out of 5 by Bolt through design causes alignment problems The bolt through design of these adaptors, which moves the caliper further away by acting as a simple spacer & using longer bolts, actually causes the Avid "tri-align" ball-and-cup alignment method to "stick". This is because the top and bottom of the caliper are spaced by different amounts, so the caliper fits over the bolts at a slight angle. This angle is enough to cause the bolts to stick a bit in the bolt slots in the caliper. The whole tri-align system depends on the caliper floating freely on the bolts to get perfect alignment. Why did Avid come up with this design for their 185mm adaptors, instead of using the same spacing method as used for their 203mm adaptors? Rubbish. Barely deserves the two stars I've given it. 20 March 2012
Rated 1 out of 5 by not quite as advertised the description claims that this adapter will fit various brake calipers, however the problem i had with it was it did not come with any washers so out of the box it does not fit unless you already have these washers. the plane of the two top surfaces, those that contact the caliper, is not inline. these surfaces are parallel to the initial mount, not taking into account the angle change from having different heights. so without silly cup+cone washers this will not fit flush. when you tighten the mount bolts it will slide around and not align properly. i would not recommend unless you have avid calipers, or those dumb washers. 17 January 2012
Rated 5 out of 5 by Alex- a little harsh no? Alex's review seems a little harsh - perhaps he should have considered buying a hope adaptor instead? Given that hope don't make 185mm discs then it shouldn't come as much of a surprise that it didn't fit! 03 March 2011

Answer:
It is not advised to run Ice Tech rotors with an Avid Juicy caliper as the rivets on the rotor in many cases can foul the caliper body.

Generally it is not advised to mix and match manufacturers products in regards to rotors and brakes as the manufacturer has designed their own brakes to run optimally with their own corresponding rotor.
