Rated 5 out of 5 by perfect good price and work good easy to put on all you need 26 January 2014
Rated 4 out of 5 by job well done it dose what it needs to and does not fail and look good when doing it 09 November 2013
Rated 5 out of 5 by Fits and works easily Drop it in, tighten it up and makes a nice stable holder for the bolt compared to a start nut. Using a 90's Syncros Angled Topcap Cattleprod stem this makes the whole setup better and neater. Great in Aluminium steerers 04 September 2013
Rated 5 out of 5 by It works! Simple title sums it up, the BBB Powerhead is an excellent piece of kit that does what it promises. I have ridden with a full carbon fork on my Ridley for 2-3years now and have always suffered with the headset (integral) slackening off. Have tried 3 different compression devices, last of which was M:Part but have also tried FSA, and they always slipped. I installed my Power head this morning (very simple with clear instructions) and did my usual Dartmoor Sunday loop, a lot of lanes with crap surfaces so much vibration! My headset was as tight as when I installed it - Eureka!! If you are struggling with a carbon steerer look no further. 17 March 2013

Colour ansd size?

The description says the cap is black ( alloy one) but the picture shows silver, can you confirm it is black?
The picture of the alloy capped one appears to show a shorter compressor adjuster than the carbon capped one, can you clarify.

Answer:
These BAP-03 compression adjusters are identical in size and length (40mm length, 58g, suitable for alloy or carbon steerers); the 'Carbon' version has a carbon effect top cap, while the 'Alloy' cap version has a flat black finish top cap.

What size diameter?

The diameter of my steerer is 22mm. I have tried other compressors but they are too wide. Will this fit my steerer?

Answer:
A compression adjuster to fit a 1" steerer would be required; at present we do not stock an adjuster to fit this sizing.

Answer:
The knurled expander section will fit in as it's about 20mm at it smallest setup.
The top silver part that sit in the tube is a fraction under 22mm. I'm measuring 21.8mm on mine.

That section is only 1cm long so you may be able to sand a bit away or need to remove any burs on the tube.
