Rated 5 out of 5 by Fantastic bike Very much an amateur cyclist but have used road bikes for many years commuting back and forward from work. Had my previous bike - Giant scr - stolen so decided to invest in a better bike. Having my last bike stolen has turned out to be a blessing in disguise. I absolutely love this bike, effortlessly pick up speed, its such a smooth and comfortable cycling experience. Have done a few longer cycles on it 90 - 120k and it has really made me enjoy cycling again. As previous poster has pointed out, its worth taking the bike to the garage and getting the gears tweeked - my gears kept on slipping (tried fixing myself and was a disaster). If I ever invest in a another bike I would buy Beone after being so happy with this purchase. 13 May 2013

Rated 5 out of 5 by Can't Fault This Bike, Packaging On The Other Hand... I brought this bike a couple of months ago, firstly chain reaction are a very helpful selling and really do provide a top notch service ! I have done over 100 miles on the bike and I love it, looks good and is fast. I know its fast because I can better the time and speed that some of my friends have done on the same route and they have been using time trial bikes, and they are experienced riders !! Also don't be alaramed if at first your can't get all other gears on the rear sprocket just take it to your local bike shop and get a gear alignment around £15, most new bikes need this and definitely worth getting it done. DO NOT ATTEMPT IT YOURSELF !! It takes a professional who does it day in and day out, with all the special tools at least 30 minutes. I am an F1 design engineer and work on my own cars I know how things work and I wouldn't attempt it !! One small thing is I think mine was a victim of the poorly packaged bikes as when I first took it out of the box noticed the marks on the stem tube but didn't send it back and in hindsight I should have done !! Especially now as the badly packaged/recycled brand new ones are £120 cheaper for what is a couple of tiny scratches/paint chips !! If chain reaction want to send me some vouchers because of the bad packaging they would be greatly recieved :-) as I have spent over £1000 with them this year alone. 12 April 2013
