Rated 5 out of 5 by It's a must I've been running this for the last month. I've an Intense 6.6. It took a bit of trial and error but I now have it working perfectly;) Due to the VVP linkage system on the Intense I had to file down the back plate as it was rubbing on the linkage and limiting the suspension movement. In all, a great product. My chain stays where it's supposed to:) Definitely worth the money 03 September 2009

Answer:
I would't advise to use it with a 1x10 as it is made for dual ring, and the roller is stepped. It has two step instead of one on a single ring chainguide. So no, if this even works, it won't be ideal at all in my opinion.

Answer:
Due to the width of the roller (to allow movement for a Double Crankset) it would be best to run a Single Ring specific guide for the best performance.

Answer:
This item is designed for a double chainring set up only.

A triple chainset would be required as the big ring needs to be removed in order to fit the bash guard.
