A unique design inspired by originals like the Stoat and Stingray. This new design utilises harder edged sculpturing, for a streamlined look. The soft temples hug the contours of the head enhancing comfort and performance.
Bloc Scorpion Frame:
Bloc sports frames utilise tough and compliant TR90 frames. The fit of the hand- finished frames are exceptional.
Sports hinges for total strength, flexibility and longevity.
Moulded nose pads to prevent slipping and improve comfort, fit and performance.
Colours - Matt White Camo, Shiny Black, Shiny Tortoise or Shiny White
Bloc Scorpion Lens:
Smoke - this lens transmits the full colour spectrum. It doesn’t not change the way colours are seen and is ideally suited for prolonged wearing in bright conditions and for people who have intolerance to colour transformation.
Vermilion - The unique hue of this lens makes it a true rounder, at home in the brightest conditions, whether on mountain, street or beach. The grey content ensures natural colour transmission and the vermilion enhances red, green and yellow, whilst eliminating a high degree of blue light. This increases perception of detail and dramatically reduces eye fatigue.

As said, not quite beer garden specs :) In short I forget they're on once I'm riding. Adjustable nose thingy is good, arms grip well and there's enough clearance for my unusually long lashes: which are frequently a pain when choosing specs. Oakley schmokley.

These are great performance - high quality optics, strong, light, and flexible. I used them skiing, and they are great for cycling too. Pretty hard to pull them off as casual sunglasses though - they're designed for action!

Rated 4 out of 5 by Anonymous I got these in white camo and they are *maximum* lairy - be prepared for some looks. Initial impressions were poor because although CRC had carefully packed them in bubble-wrap they don't come in a box or anything, just a basic carry bag. That aside, the Scorpions are very light and comfortable and mostly stay put - although they do slide forwards sometimes on gnarly trails. The lenses seem pretty good and there's no obvious distortion but a back-to-back comparison with a pair of Minute 2.0s showed how good Oakley's optics are - everything seemed sharper and there was less glare with the Oakleys. Overall, the Scorpions are not a bad pair of glasses but for MTBing they occupy that grey area between £10 safety specs and £100 Oakleys. Go for the safety specs if you're not bothered about looks or the Oakleys if you want quality.
