Rated 4 out of 5 by rob44 seem ok protection on a budget
I ordered a small but wish they made them in medium, as I also purchased the elbow pads in medium, there is only a small or large size available. the Velcro on the lower two straps just about goes round my calf muscles, and seems too tight to be comfortable, I have requested the large size but out of stock at moment.

Rated 4 out of 5 by sp1marco Buon rapporto qualità/prezzo

The stitches that keeps the plastic plates on does not last.
Rubberbands in the strap that is behind your knee gets exsposed after a while if you like to bike around from trail to trail, rubber against skinn is not plesent.
Not taken any crashes yet with them, so i cant say if they gives much protection.
Over all its a good design, and if they just used some better materials it would have been a 5 star from me.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Anonymous Little trick for proper comfort
These are great pads like many have said but here's a little trick of mine to make them super comfortable.
Go and get yourself some child car seat strap pads, the sort that open right out. Simply put your armour on and the strap above/ on your calf muscle fold the super soft pad around the strap and secure the pads Velcro. These car seat pads are 12cm long so they fit perfect along the strap and take all the irritating digging-in feeling away from your calf. The strap above the calf is where most of the none slip action comes from so having extra soft non-slip velvet is great.
You can get two sets and do the strap above your knee as well. Worth the extra spend I can tell you.
In respect to the sizing of these straps I'm 5,9 tall not massive arms and legs but muscle there and the medium is fine, a little short on the ankle straps but it will just reach. Large would be to way to big for sure.
Hope this is a nice little trick anyway.

Rated 4 out of 5 by Anonymous Fantastic!
I am usually hard to please when it comes to armour and more so with shin/knee pads. Usually they are uncomfortable, don't bend properly, don't sit right... Etc. But these are great, as is the price. I have had mine for at least a year now and they're still going strong. Fabric has held together and they about as comfy as pads get. Once they're in place they don't tend to move, which is just what I want. Combine these with a set of padlocks and you're problem free.

Rated 4 out of 5 by Anonymous Bulky but surprisingly comfortable
I bought these because I am getting into the MTB and downhill side of riding and after pushing my limits a bit too far on a couple of occasions and ending up with some nasty wounds decided to get some protection. I bought these because they offered plenty of knee and shin cover but without costing a fortune. reviews seemed positive about the level of comfort on longish rides and as I still enjoy a long slog around the hills this was an important feature. When I received the pads I thought they looked huge and bulky and didn't feel very comfortable walking round my living room so I was worried they would be awful for a long ride. However, I wore them on a 11 mile ride for 3 hours this weekend with lots of up hill pedalling and I have to say I was surprised at how I barely noticed I was wearing them. no serious rubbing behind the knee, only the left one seemed to slip down my leg a bit but nothing serious. Generally a good cheapish knee pad with plenty of protection and reasonable comfort for medium long rides. Good if you cross country but also like to chuck it down a trail from time to time.

Rated 1 out of 5 by Anonymous Inconsistent build quality and bad fit
The first time I used these guards the left knee guard stitching let go and it came off. the straps are in different places when comparing left to right. The left calf strap is about 20mm lower than the right. as a consequence the left falls down constantly. The right one isn't so bad but it too tends to work it's way down. You would right in assuming that I don't recommend this set of guards.
