A top quality knee/shin pad set at an unbelievable price. Similar in construction to the MK1 combo, sharing the same plush foam padding and mesh outer. Three Velcro straps secure the pads in place, with the inclusion of an elasticated sock at the knee to give greater comfort when pedalling.

• Plush foam padding
• Hard plastic outer
• Three Velcro straps and one elasticated sock keep the pads in place
• Mesh outer lining provides excellent air flow and helps eliminate sweat build-up
• Articulated knee joint
• Tabbed Velcro to aid removal of the pads with gloved hands

Rated 3 out of 5 by pretty good for the money bought these as my first set of pads for general mountain biking and they are pretty good for the price, I've had them for almost a year and they are pretty worn out now but i do ride a lot, they are probably better for downhill riding, although if you don't know any better you can pedal and walk in them without noticing them too much, but they are a bit bulky if your looking for something for xc, the thigh straps are quite long and stretch permanently after a bit of ware and become very loose, havn't had any real bad high speed crashes in them but have definitely saved me from the smaller crashes and dreaded pedal strikes, going to spend a little more on my next ones and see if i can find something with a bit better quality 17 February 2014
Rated 4 out of 5 by Very good Fitted perfectly, stayed up while pedaling, comfy, and have good air circulation which I think was a bit of a bonus. Good product, protects your legs 19 January 2014
Rated 4 out of 5 by excellent, unbelievably comfortable! I bought these as a replacement for the 661 comp's which felt very cheap and moved around a lot. Straight from opening the packet the Brand-X pads felt and looked far superior. I strapped them on and couldn't believe how comfortable they were! The knee donut thingy hugs your knee and keeps the pads securely in place. I went straight out for a ride, 4 hours of rough trails and steep climbs.... I totally forgot I was wearing my pads :) My legs didn't get sweaty and the pads didn't budge once. I'm on my second pair of these now, the stitching on the plastic knee protection came away on the original pair near the start of the ride I mentioned earlier. The new ones look more solid, I really hope the problem doesn't repeat itself because I truly believe you won't find a more comfortable pad for the money. 16 January 2014

Rated 5 out of 5 by Lower leg savers Have owned these for some time now and cannot fault them, have saved my knees and shins countless times, yes they're a bit scratched up but are still going strong well worth the money. 21 July 2012
Rated 4 out of 5 by Great Guards I own these Knee Guards for about 6 months and have been using them on every ride. They are light, they dont moove and are safe enough for my freerides. The only drawabck is that the lower stripe is too short.. 21 June 2012
