Rated 5 out of 5 by Good Value for money I bought this pedal pins for this season. It survives to 2 months of intensive riding on my DH bike, the wear is acceptable for the price. They give you a very nice grip ! The color is perfect, the bike looks like very cool with it. But the pins are a little bit fragile (the material is a little soft) : be carefull when you mount it on your pedals (do not tight it too much and well hold the key on the little footprint) You need a 5mm or 5.5mm key to mount it (i don't remember exactly) There is 40 pins in the pack, so it remains some pins for replacement following your pedals !! 30 August 2014

how to fit these in

What tool would I need to put these pins in and what size would fit?
I bought a set already and stupidly screwed them in my hand, tedious, tricky and still really loose, on my first ride I'd lost most of the pins, so I know there must be a tool that would allow me to screw these in properly, cheers.

Answer:
These pins require a 5mm hex socket spanner to fit. You can usually get away with a small pair of precision pliers if you don't have a suitable socket.

Answer:
You need a 5mm or 5.5mm wrench (but I don't remember exactly if it's 5 or 5,5 ...)
You have to tight them with the wrench, but don't tight them too much because the pins are made wih a metal a little bit soft
