Rated 3 out of 5 by Anonymous Just not for me...
Long story short, after 500 km it and I are just not getting on together. I so wanted to love this saddle as so many others obviously do but I guess my rear end is just suited more to my previous Fizik / Specialized saddles. Workmanship is second to none as you'd expect for over 200GBP. Be aware though that the design uses a tensioning strap of leather under the main body attached by a riveted plate situated right in the middle of the saddle. Unless your seatpost cradle has a very low upper part, this will rub on the rivet plate, I had to tape a piece of rubber over it to prevent it scaping (yes, I did try another seatpost..No joy with FSA or stock BMC or Specialized) Saddle rails are also MUCH wider at the rear than standard, so if you have a rail fitted saddle bag (as opposed to a strap attached one) you're going to need to replace it...)

Rated 3 out of 5 by Anonymous Not Suitable for Sweaty People
I sweat a lot when I ride, especially in tropical Singapore.
In my first ride, the saddle extended so much due to my sweat, that my butt was hitting the seatpost at the bumpy area.
So I oil it, and ride it with a gel seat cover. It has been working fine for the past 4 years. I also own a B17 for 3 years that I use for long distance touring, but with a gel seat cover.
I have tried the Brooks Saddle Cover, but it is not durable enough for my intended use.
I guess this is not the problem of Brooks, but inherit weakness of leather.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Anonymous I love my Brooks B15 Swallow Classic Titanium Railed Saddle
Chain Reaction had by far the best deal on this very expensive saddle. I bought the matching honey-colored leather Brooks bar tape with the saddle and together they look stunning on my 2002 Lemond Victoire titanium road bike with its dark blue frame accents and rims and its classic horizontal top tube. I ride that bike a lot more now because I just love its new look and because my ass no longer gets sore. The saddle has beautiful lines
(I think it is much prettier than a Brooks Swift) and it is beautifully made. The Swallow is more comfortable than my other two Brooks saddles - a B17 Special and a Flyer (-they are on other bikes), even though those other two saddles have more miles on them. In fact the Swallow was comfortable right out of the box, while the B17 Special and Flyer needed at least 35 miles on them to become comfortable. And I think it is unique to Brooks saddles, that all 3 of my saddles get more more comfortable during each ride. Recommended!

Rated 5 out of 5 by Anonymous Great saddle
I was pretty happy with my Fizik Vitesse, but the Swallow is another magnitude of comfort. No break in for me either. Rode 5.5 hours on it the first three days. It was comfortable out of the box. Great when I'm riding my aero bars. Less pressure and friction on soft tissue than the Vitesse. Slightly more pressure on my sit bones, but little pressure on the chronic saddle sores I've had near my sit bones for the last 9 months.
