Live large with the luxurious ride of the Trance 12. This
shoe has a taste for the finer technologies in life like an incredibly
articulated Caterpillar Crash Pad that segments the midsole for a
perfectly smooth heel-to-toe transition. We moved the heel counter
to the outside of the shoe for even more interior comfort plus built in
bootie-like design for a silky feel. Pretty soon, this shoe will be on an
episode of MTV® Cribs.
Flextra-elements are strategically incorporated into the outsole in the forefoot area. These elements are designed depending on gender and weight to provide the necessary forefoot stability. Flextra is a system of individually configured flex grooves. It guarantees every runner ideal forefoot flexibility independent of weight and gender. Our product developers differentiate by using three different flex groove designs. The less outsole material is being utilized the more flexible the shoe becomes.
The new midsole material MoGo is an ingenious polymer structure that is more durable than EVA, offers a softer, more flexible running experience. Its properties are less temperature-related: Variations in rigidity are minimal at both high and low temperatures (+/- 0,15 Pa).
The new shock absorption technology benefits from optimal energy feedback. With conventional sole materials, the energy feedback peters out as the impact force rises. This is also the reason why some shoes feel kind of „flat“ after a certain period of time. Exactly the opposite applies with BROOKS. With BROOKS DNA™, higher impact forces also boost the energy feedback.
The foot is biomechanically adjusted to a natural motion from heel to toe through two levels of material hardness. The tendency to pronate is minimized.
