Rated 4 out of 5 by Hobbit Good Bladder, but needs some design tweaks
I bought my 3rd Mule and onto my 3rd bladder. The new version of the Mule is not a half a tough and robust as the old. The new version is lighter but doesn’t have that same quality feel to it.
The bladder is good at its job for the most part. But you have to check again and again the turn seal at the top is closed. It may appeared physically sealed but then leaks and you have to play around loosening and tightening and checking its sealed. My biggest issue I have, and this is now happened to my 3rd bladder, is repairs. When you get a pin hole size hole it renders the bladder useless. All efforts to seal fail, glues, patches etc. Camelbak – why are you not issuing repair kits. Biking can be a hard and at times an impact sport – fix it!

Rated 4 out of 5 by Alex1977 Excellent product from Camelbak
No complaints. I already have the 2 ltr hydration pack but wanted a bigger one for longer days out on the bike. Love the ease of use and the bite valve that Camelbak has. Recommend cleaning it out before first use as the first drink from it is a bit ugh!

The reservoir worked really well to start with, after a few months it started to leak where the hose joins at the base. It was a very slow leak to start with so didn't really bother me - now it is a steady leak. Wrote to customer service and got a reply telling me to make sure it was connected properly - like this was the first time i was using it! Filled in warranty claim but has been a few months now and still no reply - so guess that isn't going to work either...

Bladder leaked from first time i used it. Connection where hose meets bladder is the problem area. CRC were great and have refunded me. Camelbak need to look at this as I know of others who have had same problem.

The concept is a great idea, you can take out the bladder to clean of fill up without having to take the hose out of the pack, the new designed cap is also a lot easier to get off than the old 3ltr bladder that its replaced.
The big problem is that this is my second replacement , and both drip leak where the hoses connects into the bladder, very disappointed .

Rated 3 out of 5 by Anonymous Not bad, not great!
Ive had the CamelBak Rogue 2L for a year and its started to leak badly. At first it did its job and was quite reliable but i had trouble when i filled it to the limit because it always leaked, so i always underfilled it and it was fine for most of the year.
Now it just leaks out all the time. Trouble is there are no rips or tares or even any apparent damage when i take it out to wash it, just tiny drips from the base of the hose and the cover seal of the bladder. Ive contacted CRC and filled out a warranty form so i'm hoping for a replacement bladder. At £25 each they are not cheap! Half of what i paid for the pack and its my third one. Disappointing.

No issues, have been using this for 6 months now, usually with 2 of the three litres full and no issues.

The low profile design and quarter turn close features are both very good. However, it is the snap on drinking hose that causes a serious problem in this bladder. I carry a fair amount of gear and often 2L of water for long rides. I think a small amount of pressure from the packs contents on the straw / bladder connection causes it to leak. Whatever the cause I sent one back and the replacement leaks as well. I'm going to swap back to an Omega bladder. If you carry a lot then avoid this bladder! Or get a wet back / inner tubes / tools / first aid kit .....
