Rated 5 out of 5 by 2 reviewers.
Rated 5 out of 5 by Very good headset at a good price Altough the Hope and the Chris King headsets are twice the price, this one is better for the commuter in my opinion. It has integrated seals, unlike the others, on the races, and in my opinion looks better. So far, it performs equal or better (4K miles each) than the CK I have on the other bike. Cannot see much reason to spend more money on the 110-series neither, at least for mere mortals. 16 September 2014
Rated 5 out of 5 by Great headset. Super smooth bearings with no looseness or play. Quality of materials and workmanship are faultless. 19 April 2014

Answer:
Yes, it will fit most Surly frames, including the Troll. I have a Cross Check with this, and it fits like a charm. Like the CC, the Troll fits EC34 both on upper and down headtube, and has a 1 1/8 fork steerer tube.
