My GT Avalanche 1.0 (2009) has a normal semi-integrated untapered headset (equal cups).
I need to install a tapered fork (like Manitou Marvel).
Does this thing do the trick?

Answer:
To fit a tapered steerer into a standard 44mm headtube you can use the Nukeproof Warhead 44IETS headset below. If you only want to change your bottom cup and retain the upper part of your existing headset, you can use this Cane Creek EC44-40 part, or the Hope bottom cup (Type H).
