Rated 5 out of 5 by Works a treat in my Specialized Tricross Hope these last a bit longer than the originals that came with the bike!! Easy to fit, just take not of which way around originals are before replacing. Note that the rubbish washer seal on the lower race needs to be retained, and sits below the bearing on top of the fork. 01 June 2014
Rated 5 out of 5 by Great bearings at a good price Replaced the bearings in my 2008 Specialised Stumpjumper no problems! Beware though they come as a pair, I bought two so ended up with a spare pair :=( I'll have to keep my stumpy for another 5 years so I can use them :-) 09 April 2014
Rated 5 out of 5 by Quality item These were replacements for Cane Creek bearings that had lasted 5 years. If these last as long I'll be happy. 02 March 2014

Rated 4 out of 5 by Nice, smooth and cheap Fits my FSA ACB ZS headset like a glove. No issues at all. Affordable to swap for a new pair one or two times per season. 23 September 2013
Rated 4 out of 5 by fits very old headsets I ordered this to replace very old and falling apart bearings on a Giant ATX 860. The only thing I knew was that my headset is a Cane Creek ZS and the size of these bearings matched the old ones. I was very happy to find out that they fit perfectly so I do not need to go into the hassle of replacing the whole headset. 17 September 2013
Rated 5 out of 5 by good great price, shipping very fast, and delivery immediatly. graet quality!! racommended 26 August 2013
Rated 5 out of 5 by ZSC1 headset These bearings fitted my ZSC1 headset even though they weren't exactly the same size as the original bearings, which fell apart on removal. I originally contacted cane creek who were really helpful and responded quickly to my enquiry with a replacement headset but using these bearings has saved me having to order a part from the states. 22 February 2013

Will it go as replacement for ZS49 Headset?

Hi!

Could you please help me to clarify if this bearing could be used as replacement for Cane Creek ZS49 Headset bottom bearing?

I see, that in description ZS49 series is not mentioned, but on the side of my rusty bearing I have kind of a close specs:

CANE CREEK 1-1/8" 36 deg x45 deg
Measured ID: 30mm
Measured OD: 41mm

If it matters, it was installed at 2011 Intense M9.

Thanks in advance for your support.

Answer:
These will likely be fine; double check the height of the bearing is 6.5mm and these should fit your existing cups. I believe the 2011 M9 ran the Cane Creek Angleset ZS49 headset originally, in which case these bearings will be compatible, yes.

These bearings will fit any 1.1/8" steerer fork and headset standard that requires the 41mm Cane Creek size. The '08 Trance X1 is listed as running an Integrated 1.1/8" headset so these should fit, yes.

Answer:
No, these wouldn't be compatible with the TH-857 headset as from what I have been able to see this model of headset would have used Caged bearings, not sealed.

Answer:
These bearings will only suit a 1 1/8” headset design model, the bearings will be too small in internal diameter to accommodate a Taper or 1.5” headset design.

Answer:
Not being a Yeti dealer I can't be certain; the best option is simply to remove your existing bearings and measure the outer diameter, inner diameter and height of the bearing. If they measure 41 x 30.2 x 6.5mm then these Cane Creek bearings should be ok.
If not, drop an email to our technical team with the inner diameter of your frame headtube at both the upper and lower openings, along with the specification of your fork and they should be able to help you further.. http://www.chainreactioncycles.com/...

OK for Felt 9 Comp 2012 model?

Looking to replace worn cartridge bearing in integrated headset in Felt 9 comp 2012.

Felt website lists: Fully Integrated 1-1/8"" Aheadset: Cane Creek sealed cartridge bearing.

Current headset is FSA. Bearing case has no letters or number but they are blue seal and the dimensions seem to match those listed in the spec of this model. I took a pic of the bearings below and a pic of the crown tube (45mm outer, 41mm inner as best as I could measure) Steerer tube 1 1/8.

Please advise if these are suitable. Thanks

Answer:
This headset requires loose ball bearings seated in a bearing cage.

At present we don't have them available at present however the part numbers below may help you to locate them -

Bearing - MR001
Carrier - MR013

Alternatively a replacement headset would be an easier option.
