Rated 5 out of 5 by 1 reviewer.
Rated 5 out of 5 by Fall inline... This is it, baby! This is what I, and possibly the world, has been waiting for, a fully tuneable air shock with a climb function in a lightweight package at a great price. CC have cleverly moved in the void left by the wake of FOX and I can see this posing a real problem for FOX's sales team. FOX were mucking about with remote lock-out iPhone 'Apps' which no one in the world was ever going to use. They also made the mistake of not listening to people and produced the CTD which didn't work initially. You will notice big names like Santa Cruz fitting these as standard to their new 'Top-End' bikes, I think they've had enough of FOX's dominance and poor recent expensive offerings. The older CC DB air was awesome but really not much lighter than a FOX RC4 coil equipped with a Ti spring (which is outstanding BTW, dude) so didn't see much point. But this gives all the functions without all the weight. More for trail use than DH which is shown in the lower fit range. I'm glad mine accepts the last on the list! It's expensive, but good value and if you're looking to replace that poorly functioning FOX you can always put it on one of those popular auction sites. 12 September 2014

Answer:
Measure the eye-to-eye of your current shock and you should see the same if not extremely similar dimension in the list.

I have been told that this shock would fit on to my Cube AMS 110.
I am wanting more travel on the rear shock, but don't really want to buy a new bike - As the smallest size of shock is 165mm, wouldn't this make the bike very uneven (currently running a 110mm shock). Is there any way of making it even - e.g putting bigger forks on, if so what size would be the best to put on, also if there are other ways to make it more even, please let me know what is best.
Also does this one have lock out?
thanks

Answer:
Dude, you can't have more travel than you already have, besides the frame won't take a longer shock, the frame is designed with the particular travel you have.

I wouldn't even put bigger forks on than the travel range Cube has recommended. More travel isn't always better, your frame has a particular geometry with the stated travel, if you increase or even decrease the travel this will upset the frame geometry and make the bike behave weirdly. You are best matching the front and rear travel, so you would need 110mm forks.

This is an awesome shock, get it in the size you have you will not be disappointed. I bet I can ride a 110mm travel bike faster on the UK trail centres faster than my 150mm.

Answer:
The Cube AMS 110 runs a 165mm x 38mm rear shock sizing, meaning that 'sku448780' of this shock is compatible.

Note however that this will not grant the frame more travel (as this is not possible), it will however increase performance.

And yes, this shock has a lockout actuated via the lever on the shock itself.
