Cane Creek's original Ergo Control took the bar end to an unprecedented level of performance. Its ergonomic profile, extending both fore and aft of the handlebar, gave riders more comfort and control than was previously possible. The design fit the rider's hands naturally and aligned his/her weight over the center of the steering. Now Cane Creek offers the Ergo Control II - with even more technology that makes sense. The optimized shape offers more hand positions for improved comfort and reduced weight. The new aluminum spine clamp is engineered to be stronger and lighter. The composite skeleton provides better, more uniform support with fewer grams. The outer rubber surface with raised Cane Creek skinks and logos is softer and tackier to improve your grip. And by integrating ODI®'s patented Lock-On System technology, Cane Creek has introduced the first bar ends that mate with Lock-On handlebar grips—including the Cane Creek locking grips. Of course, the Ergo II's are also compatible with traditional handlebar grips. Features: • Materials: aluminum spine clamp, composite support skeleton, and exclusive rubber grip surface • Compatibility: compatible with ODI lock-on system grips and traditional grips • Weight: 175g (pair) • Colour: black

Rated 4 out of 5 by Anonymous Great grips, crappy bolts
I love these grips, they are really comfortable even with prolonged use, and they are perfect for climbing out of the saddle on steep hills. But I agree with the bad review about the bolts. Even using the supplied 4mm hex key mine have stripped after only 2 fittings and I'm having to replace them.
So buy them, but replace the bolts before fitting. They are M6 X 16mm Button Head Cap Screws...

Rated 5 out of 5 by Anonymous Very comfy and not too bulky
Bought these as I was having a little trouble with my wrist. No trouble since I bought these. They are an excellent fit on the bars. They feel very natural in position and are great on hill climbs giving extra options for hand positions. Highly recommended.

Rated 4 out of 5 by Anonymous cufy but heavy
Compared to most aluminium bar ends these are very comfortable – very. Also being rubber coated they don’t chill your fingers down. Unfortunately they are very heavy. If you watch every gram on your bike you will probably put the packet down again in the shop. Com on cane creek, lets have a lighter version – don’t change the shape.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Anonymous Cool bit of kit!
I cycle 400km a month an this is by far the best bit of kit I have bought for my bike in ages. I dont use my horizontal grips any more so Im thinking of actually removing them and chopping the bars down (better for squeezin between the traffic ;O))

If this is the style of grip you want then these must be hard to beat! Easy to fit, good solid feel when fitted and provide decent comfortable grip.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Anonymous ive only done a few hundred miles on them, using my mates bike, and they are sweet! fit nicely into my hand and feel solid. on the Tour D'Afrique (www.tourdafrique.com)a number of riders had these ends, not a single problem with them. and thats over 12,000kms!
since when were cane creek headsets bad? ive done about 14000-15000 kilometres on mine on my xc bike, havnt had a single whisper of a complaint out of it. across desert (sahara, nubian, namib, north kenya), mud, thrashing around local trails with small jumps and drops. ive never had a bad experience with cane creek, sounds like you mustve used the wrong size allen or something if they rounded...
