Castelli Diluvio Glove

This is your glove for cold and/or wet conditions. The Japanese neoprene is some of the highest quality available and this is what makes it so stretchy, comfortable and warm. The seams are constructed using the same technique as a wetsuit: the stitching is only on the outside, while the inside is thermo welded to make it smooth and completely waterproof. While the waterproofness is an obvious benefit in the rain, what’s not so obvious is how good this glove is in the cold. It keeps your hands warm with the same function as a wetsuit for divers. It is completely non breathable, so your hand sweats but that moisture is immediately warmed to body temperature and stays warm. We fi gure it’s better to have hands warm and wet than dry and cold, or worse yet wet and cold!

  • Non-slip gripper on palm.
  • Extended neoprene cuff to keep the wind and rain out .
  • Temperature range: 5° - 15°.
  • 97g pair
  • Fabric 90% Neoprene 10% Other

Rated 5 out of 5 by 2 reviewers.
Rated 5 out of 5 by warm quality I live in sydney australia. winter mornings reach lows of 0-10 degrees C. These gloves work perfectly at keeping the cold out in these temperatures. I like the extra bit of length in the sleeves as they neatly fit over the cuffs of my sleaves and keep the wind out. the stretchy neoprene material also grips nice and snug over the sleeves. my hand size is usually between a medium and large. i bought the large and found them slightly big at the finger tips. with the neoprene material i probably could have bought the mediums and felt comfortable in them. hands do sweat a bit in them as previously mentioned but not a big deal. i like the sticky feel of the material on the palms. grips nicely to the handlebars and shifters. had them now for 3 months and so far quality seems very good. a nice buy at the sale price. get some. 19 July 2014
Rated 5 out of 5 by Love these gloves. I am very impressed with these gloves, they can get your hands a bit sweaty but comfort wise they are amazing. Excellent quality from Castelli as always. 23 April 2014

Washing?

What's the best way to wash these? OK in the washing machine at 40 degrees? I cut off the label when I got them and foolishly binned it!

Answer:
Castelli's website list the exact same sizing: http://www.castellicafe.co.uk/Caste...

I would suggest measuring the circumference of you hand and seeing what size that equtes to.

Answer:
i bought the L/XL pair and my hands are between medium and large. i found the finger tips a few mm longer than i'd like but general fit was ok. i think if you are usually an L these would fit perfectly. the material is pretty stretchy so i think thats why the sizes are grouped. even though i'm medium-large i reckon i could comfortably fit into the small-medium pair because of the stretchiness of neoprene.
