Rated 5 out of 5 by Neoprene's not just for Surfing I got these after being fed up wringing out soaked winter gloves. These work well and keep the wind off. I've ridden with these in 2C. In the rain they don't become heavy & soaked. The work just like a wetsuit (as you'd expect neoprene to do) and keep the heat in but you don't feel wet. What I've liked best is the grip and fit. No clumsy grabbing for brakes/shifters like with thick winter gloves. If you're going cycling and not just a run to the shops these are great. I think this is the way we'll see more winter gloves go & as usual for Castelli they look great too. 10 February 2014
Rated 4 out of 5 by Great product Having worn out my old Altura Neoprene Gloves which I have had for numerous years, it was time to replace them for this winter season. Having read numerous reviews, these were the gloves I decided upon. As with most neoprene gloves, they do not keep your hands dry, and they can get quite sweaty. On shorter rides of 2 - 3 hours these perform excellent. However having rode the Colomba Chemo Classic in November, where the weather was atrocious, some of the descents were pretty bad, those I was on the brakes for long periods of time, during which my core temperature dropped, fingers being one of the first body parts to suffer. Cold wet hands are no fun. When my body did start to warm up again, the feeling in my fingers returned and the gloves kept me relatively comfortable. Not sure there are May gloves that would have kept hands warm in the conditions we experienced. 14 January 2014
