Castelli Feroce Midweight Long Sleeve Baselayer

The Castelli Feroce Midweight is a whole new way to look at base layers. Medium weight with excellent wicking and warmth this is a great winter base layer. Come the spring wear it under the Fedele Jersey or your team jersey and if things warm up then regulate your temprature by pulling the sleves up. A true 3 season piece, and a better way to ride.

Dont think of it as a long sleeve base layer. Think of it as a short sleeve base layer with free arm warmers attached. Its made to be used with a short sleeve jersey by making the sleeves in our heaviest weight seamless construction, the body is medium weight, and we use lighter weight fabric under the straps of the bibshort. You get perfect temperature equilibrium, and when things heat up? Just push the sleeves up since the ultra stretchy consruction makes it easy and comfortable.

Rated 4 out of 5 by
Rated 5 out of 5 by Really great base layer This is one of my most favorite items from castelli. In combination with a short sleeve trikot or a jacket when it´s colder outside it does a perfect job, takes away the sweet and keeps you dry. I was really surprised after my first ride wearing it, even when you sweat you never get hot or start freezing when other base layers feel wet on the skin. Pricy but worth every cent. 19 April 2013
