A quick question on sizing: Whereas I'm 5' 11" (180 cm) tall, with a 31" (78 cm) waist, what size do you suggest for the Castelli Garmin Sharp BodyPaint Aero Bibshort? Do these bibs run small, spot on, or big? Thanks.

Answer:
The best thing would be to refer to the Castelli size guide: http://castelli-cycling.com/en/prod...

Castelli is an Italian brand and does come up a little small.

Answer:
My (ongoing) experience with ALL Castelli items is that they run small. REALLY, REALLY small. In fact, I ordered this exact product a month or so ago. I'm an M, so I thought "OK, the sizes on the guide chart seem OK for me as an M" (I'm a fairly small M these days: 6ft. 2 in. and 71kg). The product arrived: couldn't get into them. Switched it around for an L Aero Race Castelli bib. As usual, CRC's return service worked like a dream, and the replacement item arrived real quick. Result: could get into them, but would have had a hard time getting on the bike in them, never mind riding in them. I'm currently waiting for the XL of the Aero Race to arrive, to see if I can use this, or whether I need to go for the XXL. Me, a smallish M.
So yeah: Castelli run SMAAAAAAALLLLLL. Absolute top of the line in style and quality, though. Hope you find one to fit you, but if you make an error, CRC are real quick on the turnaround.
