Rated 5 out of 5 by coeurdubois Affordable and does the job - I can see at last
Having not bought new lighting for a few years and being prejudiced against led lighting, I am pretty astounded by what this light offers. It offers many times the brightness of my old lamps, far better penetration and makes me truly visible (I hope!). I have to admit that it has proven that led lighting can be good (never thought I'd say that#. It has a good battery life and charges quickly. Battery status indicators easy to understand. Being old and feeble-minded it took me a few minutes to work out how many times to press the switch to get it into the right mode, but that's age for you. Slipping it on and off the mounting bracket is quick and easy too.
This lamp is probably not sufficiently like a searchlight to satisfy the hardened off-road enthusiast but it does everything I need and more besides. I'd buy it again tomorrow.
A mention for CRC is that the original delivery was faulty #looks like a poorly-checked return, put back into stock) but replacement was delivered promptly and with no real fuss.
