The innovative FlexTight™ bracket mounts quickly, securely and without tools to virtually any handlebar or stem. The new tool-free speed and cadence sensor mounts effortlessly to any standard (non-elevated) chain stay. Are you spinning or grinding? Guess no more.

Rated 4 out of 5 by gd for budget rider i am using garmin500 and i set it up for my wife for her to monitor the cadence. nothing to complaint abt it. gd choice for a budget rider 07 May 2014
Rated 5 out of 5 by Good I found this product easy to set up(aprox 20 min). I think cadence-info is important while riding my bike. Bit hassel with wire when cleaning your bike, recemand wireless technology. 24 April 2014
Rated 3 out of 5 by Uncomplicated. The tricky aspect of setting this up is being a little creative with the wire routing. One may also be required to be particularly creative with mounting the cadence magnet on the cranks. Personally I opted to use a button magnet mounted to the end of a cable tie. I actually prefer units like this which use the rear wheel for speed sensing, it leaves your forks free of any unsightly sensors, particularly those wireless models with bulky appearances. This design owning to the cadence sensor being halfway along the wire. Once you have all that done you got a nice minimalist head unit (again due to the absence of housed wireless sensors/ GPS sensors etc. Winter /gloved /summer operation is very simple by way of the push-the-unit-against-the-button rather than the push-the-button-against-the-unit design. Also only ever having to replace one battery is a bonus. Problems I have with this unit as mentioned by others: Cycling through features to get to a function can be a bit tedious but then the only way I can think to beat that would be to have a larger display with more data displayed simultaneously, not for everyone. Also I've had problems with corrosion on the head unit contacts: keep it dry and clean folks! I cycle with a HRM (which I use with other sports) and my phone is ticking away the GPS stuff in my jersey pocket. This is my modular, minimalist approach and it works well for me. It must be great to be able to check the stock exchange and moon phases on your handlebars but I'd rather not have to strap a Commodore 64 to my stem. Not the bleeding edge of innovation but this design has been around for a few years and it is simple, reliable and accurate (with a little looking after). I like it. 21 April 2014
Rated 5 out of 5 by Good Value Computer This is a good Value Computer that I use on my Racing Bike I have long been mapping my rides on Strava using a Garmin Forerunner watch and did not need an expensive Garmin Computer as the watch suits me as I run as well. However I knew I could box cleverer on the bike if I knew my Cadence and thus could adapt my training and work this into my Sportives. This Cadence computer has allowed me to do just that and I also can see clearly my MPH as I dive down the hills on my drop bars. This was a gift for me, had I purchased my own though I'd buy a wireless model. 27 March 2014
Rated 3 out of 5 by cheap, and functionable low price with cadence, but the cadence sensor need to be very closed with the magnet. 14 January 2014
Rated 5 out of 5 by The perfect computer if you want perfect pedaling After some bike reading and discussion me found that all 30+ years of my pedaling was far away from right cadence 85 (+-5) rpm. And the only way to get closer to real cyclists, at least to the correct rpm, is to watch for my cadence. I didn't want to play with wireless, so the choice was very limited. The subj. matched my need and bike perfectly. The wiring fitted nicely, within few centimeters, using the bottom tube and front brake cable. The censors needed some adjustments, but after 1 hour of tweaking and several layers of scotch protection I'm quite sure of my setup. 03 January 2014
Rated 5 out of 5 by Great value item For the price, this is a great cycle computer and a great training aid with the cadence function. The whole unit attaches easily to the bike, the only slightly difficult part is finding the perfect distance between the cadence sensors but the spacers supplied were adequate. So far I'v done 100 miles with this device and it still works perfectly! I would definitely recommend this to anyone. 11 June 2013
Rated 1 out of 5 by I haveused many cateye products icluding lighting systems and cycle computers and found them to consistently do exactly what they claim. Recently I decided to have all my bikes use the same type of computer. I brought three strada cadence units. Within weeks the cadance sensor cable broke on one. Soon after I found a second stopped working because of corrosion of the contacts. The third now stops working because it is loose . I jiggle it and it works again but hard won ks aren't recorded. I can"t believe Cateye have released such a rubbish design. I realy can't believe I have three of these pieces of crap. 26 January 2013
