Rated 5 out of 5 by VELOZAVR
In the lamp 2 rows of 5 LEDs , they are completely independent of each other . 4 of 10 LEDs directed with respect to the body side , and 6 LEDs shine even earlier.
The casing 2 for rubber buttons and upper bottom row of LEDs. There are four modes of operation. Comes supplied size AA batteries are good . After using them to install the battery and do not know the problems , 1.5 - 2.5 months for 4-5 hours blinking mode lacks .
Housing is protected with a rubber O-ring , rain will not hurt.
Frequency of practice you want to recommend a flashing mode to use only one of the rows of LEDs , if you include both sets of lights is 100 - 150 meters of the flashing light is converted into a solid red dot and not attract attention.
I note on the form of a weak attachment to a horizontal break on the seatpost . And also sometimes lantern bite down hard after such ledges and shines is on the tire .
I suppose that is treated seal of sandpaper between the lantern and the bracket.

Rated 3 out of 5 by Schlarp Great Light but, one problem
This was a great light. In the two weeks I used it, it performed great on dark bike paths with comments from other riders asking where to get one. Had a motorist complian to me that it was too bright (not really an issue for me!!!) But,
Then the case fell apart from no real reason. lost the end cap and now have no means to use it. Bit disappointed!
Suggest a bit of stick tape on the end cap to hold the cap on and batteries in. Also if you see an endcap on the (Brsibane) M3 veloway, let me know. I would love it back.

There's an option to mount it horizontally which I did for a month before realising that leg movement had worn one of the rubber switches off, and the other one was close to failing too. I now have to use a match stick or anything else available when I want to use it. It works great apart from this, so I can't justify throwing it away. I've used Cateye stuff for the last twenty years, but I think they've been overtaken by manufacturers who are putting more thought into their products. Bike shops continue to stock Cateye out of laziness.

Rated 5 out of 5 by lyon1066 Excellent light
Bought this to to upgrade my rear lighting after having bought a Lenzyne 400 lumen front light.
I've used it about ten times on my 12 mile commute and I feel much safer with this than with my previous lights. Good side vision with two LEd's on each end.
Used once under pouring rain with no probs.
Just have to wait and see if the claim of 50 hour battery life is justified.

Rated 4 out of 5 by Balsahack TL-LD1100 LED Light
A great light that has the flexibility of one or two rows of LEDs so can be used both day and night. It is nice to have the side LEDs, especially when commuting. Easy to fit with the usual Cateye brackets I have used this light for over 4 years in all weathers. Two buttons on one end are easy to use even with cold weather gloves. Unfortunately, it gave up the ghost and stopped working for no reason. I am so happy with flexibility and brightness that I have replaced like for like, especially with great CRC price.

really bright rear light with lots of options for flashing modes. Batteries that came with it are a bit weak but great product nevertheless.

Rated 5 out of 5 by longcanadianwinter Pricey but great light
I was dubious of parting with close to $50 for a rear light but what price on safety when you ride 5 months plus in darkness to work? This light is easy to install and very bright. I particularly like that it has leds on the side to help side street traffic spot you.

Rated 2 out of 5 by Ben10 Below expectation
I found this light to be disappointing. Having read reviews here and elsewhere I was under the impression that this was a leading product. Sadly it has the potential to be but it is not. Essentially it is just not very bright and inadequate for being seen on the road at night. I feel much better with the planet bike super flash, this is a much better product. This Cateye feels like it is well made but as a light it doesn't do enough to convince me to use it when better options are available.
