Liked the price and they exceeded expectations. Relatively light, minimal padding. Easy to get off with the loops. Only thing I don't like is the seam across the back near pinky side. I have a dislike for any seam the you can feel on the inside which can irritate the skin on long rides. So far hasn't been any issue on these since I've only worn them once so far.

Great mitts, very comfortable riding, easy to take off tanks to the loops, performance is great.
After about 10 rides they start to wear out a little, they are definitely not bombproof but for the price it's fine, I will buy another pair for sure when they wear out.

This is my 4th. pair of CHIBA mitt. The last pair I got were an L but feel a tad tight so I went for the XL - perfect fit for me at least. This maker has never let me down but I do think you should always size up

Rated 4 out of 5 by snark Good summer glove
I bought these mitts to protect my hands after my first stationary "clip fall" :-)
They're quite comfortable, and easy to get on & off with the finger loops. No sign of the velcro losing any grip, but I've only had them a month or so.

These are one of the few mitts that have a amara leather strip on the palms, What this means is these gloves grip like glue to the bars, so you don't have to. Why other gloves don't feature this material is one of the great mysteries of apparel design, amongst a few other I've come across. Note that amara suede doesn't offer the same tackiness for some reason, yet this is very common on cycle mitts.
They don't have any substantial padding, but I prefer to pad my handlebars, so the extra padding is unnecessary. This also makes buying mitts cheaper.
The main issue with these gloves is the sizing is naff. I often choose medium and I had to return the gloves twice, resulting in using an XL size glove. These fit well. The guy above who said these mitts were rubbish because he couldn't get them off I suspect was wearing a too smaller size. They do have tabs at the finger to aid pulling them off and I've not had a problem with this.
They run cool in the summer, so no sweaty hands, which is nice. And the velcro tabs are well positioned to not compromise fit, which sometimes happens on other gloves.
Final observation is they come with a good size terry towel wipe, which is essential for those of us cycling in cold climes or who have sensitive sinuses.
