Rated 5 out of 5 excellent value for top quality product.
I have used these clarks pads before on another bike and was impressed by the increase in braking performance, so when i saw these on such a give away price i just had to buy two pairs , and as you get a spare set of blocks makes it even cheaper. The main thing is the quality and performance though and i personally find them great in all weather and lots of feel and feed back from them. Highly recommended from a seasoned cyclist and there really good too look at on the bike aswell .

Rated 2 out of 5 by Avtech Not ideal if you ride many miles...
I bought these shoes to replace my Sram standard fit shoes and I haven't found them great to be honest.
Now they are well worn through, I won't be changing them for another set of the same. A bit disappointing on the performance level. I know they are not expensive shoes, but given some of the things I had read before I bought them earlier this year, I was expecting them to be better.
Back to Sram standard parts for me

Rated 3 out of 5 by Craigearnbikie They look great .........BUT
I bought these as a replacement for the shoes that came as standard with my Shimano Sora calipers which seemed to flex under braking. The same certainly can't be said about these. Initially they felt very hard on braking and you really had to apply the levers hard to get them to bite. Might just have been the pads taking time to bed in. Unfortunately I got diagnosed with rehumatoid arthritis recently and the pads are still so hard that I can't apply the brakes so have changed back to Shimano 105 pads [ from CRC ] which have a softer compound and [ for me at any rate ] better stopping. I'm perhaps being unfair in giving it a 3 as for normal users they would be ok.

Rated 5 out of 5 by RollingAlong Brake Pads Make a Huge Difference
These brake pads are way better than the stock Tektro pads. They braking feel is crisper, easier to modulate and much more powerful. In wet or dry, they last longer than the Tektro pads which melted like butter in the wet. Definitely would recommend changing to this brake pad before completely switching brake calipers. Awesome value too!

Rated 5 out of 5 by ToonSi Great Upgrade
I bought the shoe & pads as the stock ones on my road bike had non-existent grip in the wet. These work loads better and come with a spare pair of pads too (which I used to fit the other wheel).
Would definitely use them again & a bargain upgrade for the price.

Rated 3 out of 5 by danceup Be prepared to change these often
These pads are made from a soft compound which works well in all conditions. I replaced OEM pads on my Specialized and the difference was immediately apparent, particularly in the wet. Pads wearing badly after about 100 Miles.

Rated 5 out of 5 by redlentil A converted sceptic
I didn't entirely believe what everybody else said about the difference a good set of brake pads can make, but now I do. I wasn't very happy with the brakes that came with my Giant Defy, and thought I might have to replace them. But I just replaced the pads and now that the surfaces have worn in a little, I can really feel the difference. Previously the brakes were either on or off, they didn't seem to have any in-between, and even when full-on, they felt uncertain. With the new pads, I feel I have much better control going into corners, and feel more confident that I can stop in a hurry if I need to. So I have to join the list of people saying that if you're going to upgrade anything on a bike, this is by far the best value improvement you'll get.
Also, I have to praise CRC for their quick turnaround, low price and free delivery.

I have read in cycling magazines about these pads so many times. They always recommend these as a brake upgrade but price them way above what chain reaction charge.
I have 4 sets of these and I think they are great.
come with spare pads to make them last even longer. although I haven't changed mine in over 3000 miles
