These are good but can't seem to get their setting right OR they just squeal like a stuck pig till they warm up. Its one or the other & since not having the same trouble with other brake pads gotta put it down as 'the warm up' theory. Ultimately its about stopping the bike when you want & they do that well thus the rating

These work pretty well, however the washers and nut are made out of extremely soft metal, I couldn't use them and had to re-use old washers.

I've had these for about 2 months and have had one of the rear pads fall out twice for me now which is not good when you're half way around a ride and suddenly have no braking power. I'll be sticking to the once piece pads from now on.

Nice and cheap and work equally well compared to all other similar brake pads. You need to install them so the pad slides towards the front of the bike so when you brake the pad tries to slide further on to the holder. If you install them the wrong way they'll slide out even with the retaining clips obviously.
Only downside is the pads aren't brilliant although they're better than XTR that eat your rims. Red Kool Stop are the mutts.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Anonymous So much better than expected
Put these on our lasses (wife) bike and she nearly killed her self (hehe would have put them on earlier if I had known....) simply because they worked that much better than the ones that came on the bike. And for that price!!!!!!!!!!!

Rated 5 out of 5 by Anonymous Good pads. Buy Them
I've used these pads for over 5 years for XC and DH. The pads never came out either. Never had any problems slowing me down but that may be the way I set them up ;o) Only stopped using them when I changed to disc only frames. I've now picked up an old-school frame with V-brakes on it, so these pads are making a return for me.

Pros: Cheap, excellent value at this price (£4). Bright alloy finish is actually very nice when paired with polished alloy brakes. Cons: have a cheap feel, machining finish is poor. When I tried to fit some Koolstop pads it was a struggle - problem resolved only after taking some sandpaper to them. No danger of pads falling out though.
Didn't try the pads.

Unfortunately I wouldn't be 100% on the Brakes you would have currently fitted to your 'Trek 7.2 hybrid' but, if you would like to use the Link Below to contact us via Email we would be able to look into this further for you;
