Rated 5 out of 5 by mrIang Sintered pads
I have bought sintered and the organic . Only tried sintered pads so far and havenow worn in. Lasting well. Not sure how some reviews say they have failed on short rides ... must be faulty units .. mine have been fine so far

Rated 3 out of 5 by meeeeee ok for gentle ride on the family route
Hmm think hard ! if your just having a potter with the kids or commuting there ok ish ....
but !!! If your thinking of having a hard ride on a trail don't bother ! Doing a endo is impossible with these bad boys and the fade on them is shocking !
ok for the price but its a cheap price and you get.what you pay for!!!

Springs aren't compatible, pad support is lower quality. They work but don't worth the diference.

Rated 4 out of 5 by Anonymous Not a 'performance' pad
Ive used many Clarks products before, but these arent some of their best.
The pads come in a great little presentation pack, which was nice to see and the quality overall is good.
Fitment isnt great, the retaining sprung clips for the HFX-9 arent as well formed as the OEM items, they do not hold the pad as securely as they should.
This isnt an issue once the wheel/disk is refitted and back between them, but because the pads sit rather slack from the caliper, it means you struggle to refit the wheel/disc easily back into place.
I actually ditched the hayes clips and used the OEM items.
The pads offer a good initial bite, but do not handle excessive braking or heat well.
I feel these pads fade out far before my expectations.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Anonymous Great
Have a xc and a dh bike both fitted with sintered clarks hfx pads.
The pads are the most similar in performance to the hayes originals that i found soo far, both braking great and lasting reasonably well.
Also tried with organic pads in my xc bike but never acheived the power i wanted from my brakes.
They're also very very cheap.
