Rated 1 out of 5 by poor design Design of the cage is very poor. The part which secures the cage to the frame is such that it scrapes the plastic as the bottle is pushed in. This damages the bottle and also makes it hard to re-insert after a drink whilst riding. Not very good at all. Can't recommend to fellow riders. Try brand X item,is of much better quality. 15 April 2012
Rated 1 out of 5 by Standard size my **** Tried 6 so far and yet to find a bottle that fits this cage. Avoid! 19 December 2010
Rated 1 out of 5 by Wish I had read the other review What bottle shape and size fits this cage is beyond me. Oh, and the "red" is, of course, a bright fuchsia. 15 October 2010
Rated 1 out of 5 by *NOT* a standard bottle cage Our household has 8 bottles from 5 different manufacturers. None fit this bottle cage snugly as the base is too wide and the cage is too long. On fitting the bottles, lining up the notch with the top lip, there is 20mm of air at the bottom of the cage - so I have to press the bottle home which means the lip digs into the very top of the bottle or the bottle is loose in the cage as the lip is not engaged. This cage will easily hold a standard tin of soup or beans (holding approx 420 grams of product). The cage is so wide the tin is able to rattle around in the cage - not one of my other cages come anywhere close to holding a standard tin. Beware. 21 August 2010
