Rated 4 out of 5 by Anonymous Basic cable, looks good, well priced
There was plenty enough outer to fit a size S Cannondale commuter bike. It also comes with a lot of spares, which is handy !
I haven't had any issues with he cables after running these cables for 2 months of commuting under all sorts of weather. I just put a few drops of Teflon lubricant in them every now and then.
They are very shiny and look a lot better than the dull black cables ! A good idea if you want some Bling for your bike !

Rated 1 out of 5 by Anonymous They look snazzy and are cheap but are actually absolutely terrible. The steel strands which make the core of the outer twist and slide over each other and poke out of the end of the ferrules, which means any tension in the cable is lost. One outer bent 90 degrees as it came out of the shifter!

These are by far the worst cables/outers I have ever used.OK they look good and come with loads of spares but the quality is poor.By the 2nd ride the shifters had locked solid. When trying to remove the inner I found they were both jammed and required a good pull which then brought out the inner complete with the plastic lining of the outer!I've never had this problem before even with cheaper cables.
So the outcome is the cables are in the bin and have been replaced with far superior Shimano XT.

Do not buy, the outer cable pulls straight over the inner . Spend a bit more on other cables .

Rated 2 out of 5 by Anonymous As said by others, the outer slips over the inner wire way too easily, this has caused me many a problem on my front mech with the inner actually slipping right out and jamming the cable or causing significant lag on the cable returning. The system stays clean as it should so for that it gets 2 stars but do yourself a favour and buy the goodridge outer, its much better. I used to always use clarks, this just does not cut it compared to their standard grey outter from about 4 years ago.
