Good pads for the price. Just installed them and went for riding. In my case no additional tuning requried.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Oli2013 Perform as well as Shimano
I fitted these sintered versions to the rear brakes and the finned Shimano versions on the front, they both squeal like crazy down prolonged descents, i.e. when they get hot. Can't honestly say its worth paying extra for Fins unless you live in Whistler. Anyway, these work great for the price, time will tell wear-wise - hoping the sintered ones will last longer in wet weather.

Well priced pads to replace highly overpriced finned pads that come with the XT brakeset.
The sintered ones (reviewed) are great value for money however they do wear pretty fast. They do not like grit that is capable of ripping grooves in them causing eventual rotor damage. The spring on them is also a bit weaker than original Shimano one but then just simply use the Shimano one when you replace the pads.
All in all well priced product that replaces expensive OEM initially supplied. For the price you can get them replaced more often as needed due to the softer compound.
