Rated 1 out of 5 by For a beater, sure... ...but these are not performance cables. The kind of torque high-quality cables can withstand at the bolt will turn these inners into a shaggy mess. Hell, a slight fudge with the cable-cutters will leave a frayed end that'll never thread back through the housing once it's out. Haven't had that experience with Shimano, SRAM, etc... They work, but there's good reason to spend more. Consider the usage. 20 August 2011

The cables are sold as singles, if you need a front and rear set you will need both the 1000mm and 2000mm lengths.
