Rated 4 out of 5 by Excellent Just bought it from CRC. The description and the picture don't fit the item well. The length of the expander is 90 mm, therefore this is longest fork expander I've found in the market. The weight of this extra-long expander is 45,5 gramms. If you have too short carbon steerer of the fork, then this expander is definitely for you. 12 October 2012

Answer:
The total length is 90mm.

As this is a fork expander for holding the fork up into the headset; it must sit flush with the top of the stem; it cannot be used to extend the steerer/headset.
