Rated 5 out of 5 by Anonymous great tyres
I have used these for over a year (about 5000km) and the front is just showing some wear. the back shows much more wear and has lots of nicks and small cuts, but just keeps on going. I flated the back almost as soon as I put them on, used a can of sealent and never had another problem. they are a bit of a hassle to get on as they fit tightly. Wouldn't use anything else.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Anonymous durable tyre that requires patience
I've gone through two sets of these tyres, First set lasted me only 2 weeks (ran over glass, front and back). Have had second set around 3 years now with no problem. The tyre is extremely durable. Have put the same tyre on other wheels for friends and the fit is extremely tight compared to other tubs i've worked with. Persevere and these will go onto 700's, get the air in and leave them a day to rest (no glue), tyre is much easier to work with then.

I have 2 of these continental competition tubulars 22s which I use on my triathlon/race bike. I have them 1 year. They are durable / hard wearing. They do not puncture easily. I inspect regularly, remove any debris and fill in any cuts/nicks in teh tire surface. Eventually a piece of sharp edged glass punctured the back tire. Repairing all tubulars is time consuming but possible. Alternatively you can send to repair specialist peter Burgin in the UK. He has a website but you need to call him. His prices are reasonable.
The tyres roll great, corner well, feel safe and are fast. I put the 22s on my planet x carbon 50's and on my tri spoke front wheel. I put 140psi into mine. Buy with confidence. Gerry in Ireland

Rated 4 out of 5 by Anonymous These are not 700c
OK - so Im a bit dim - but just so you dont make the same mistake :-). Looked a nice quality tub - but wouldn't go on my disc because they were not a 700c. Nice people at CRC took the return no probs.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Anonymous the best tubs
Grip - awesome. Much better than any clincher (GP4000s, Michelin Pro3). Feels like you can lean further and further without the skitting feeling of harder tubs like Tufo.
Life - ok. After one season of race-only use (~600 miles of racing) they are showing rounded treads but likely to last another season or so. Emergency stop to avoid crash resulted in removal of small patch of tread from rear tyre.
Ride - feels like you have a softer tyre pressure as the tyre is so supple. Very comfy. But rolling resistance is low enough -have three 2nd and two 3rd road race placings this season (plus other lower top ten places) on these.
Punctures - none (~600 miles). But have picked up cuts.
My preffered tubs. But too expensive to train on!
